Recent engagements include performances with the Colburn Orchestra, Burbank Philharmonic, SoCal Philharmonic, San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Santa Monica.
A Fulbright Award recipient for the 2025/26 season, she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin with Kolja Blacher, after completing her Bachelor’s degree at the Colburn Conservatory of Music with Robert Lipsett.
Wenlan is Concertmaster of Kontrapunktus in Los Angeles and was featured with the London Symphony Orchestra on the Grammy Award-winning album An Adoption Story: The Storm (Kitt Wakeley, 2023).
Wenlan Jackson has performed at festivals including the Villars Institute, Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Nume Festival, Verão Clássico and Aspen Music Festival, and plays a 1799 Nicolas Lupot violin on loan from a private collection.
