Iris Scialom entered the CNSMD in Paris at the age of 13 in the class of Stéphanie-Marie Degand. She has won numerous international competitions which allowed her to play with Gidon Kremer and the Kremerata Baltica.
She has also performed the Brahms concerto at the Salle Poirel under the direction of Julien Masmondet with the Nancy Symphony and Opera Orchestra. In February 2021, she played Tzigane and Kaddish by Ravel with Aude-Liesse Michel live on France Musique. In June 2021, Iris performed the finale of Mendelssohn’s concerto at the Seine musicale with the Appassionato ensemble.
As a student of Mihaela Martin and Christian Tetzlaff at the prestigious Kronberg Academy, she performed with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra in the closing concert. In 2022, she played the Sibelius concerto with the Paris Conservatory Laureates Orchestra at the Philharmonie under the direction of Quentin Hindley and three times at the Opera of Tours under the direction of Matthieu Charrière.
Iris is a member of the Aralia trio, with whom she is involved in cultural mediation activities with audiences far from musical practice. She also performs with Antonin Bonnet (duet Arborescence). Together they have won several international prizes in Italy and Lithuania.
Iris is a laureate of the Meyer Foundation, the Patrick Petit Foundation, the Société Générale Foundation, the Albeniz Foundation, the Adami and the Villecroze Music Academy. She plays a Derazey violin.
